Surgery time!

I went to the vet the other day thinking it was just to have a friendly chat but it turns out I have a dodgy knee. My teeny tiny kneecap on my right back leg has been slipping out of place a lot lately. 

And the vet said my back legs are too straight!!! I thought that was a good thing but apparently not. It makes them poor shock absorbers. Which is a bummer as I love to jump and run a lot.

So tomorrow I am going in for surgery on my knee to hopefully stop the kneecap slipping out of place and make me super happy!!

Water baby

Being summer at the moment, we are getting some extremely hot days! Supposedly pugs are not water dogs however I absolutely LOVE the water.

My family got me a little plastic pool for christmas. I love having a splash around, however for some reason I have the need to chew it up and destroy it.

Canberra has so many lovely places to go swimming, I decided to do some research on where us dogs can take a dip. I have attached a map of Canberra's doggy friendly swimming areas. Click here to view.

Vest style

Some of you may have noticed I like to wear a fancy little vest when out and about. You see, my neck has rolly skin and is very wide so my collar can pop right off my head. This is why my family makes me wear a vest (not just for the look).

My latest vest is a suave blue tartan one however I think I might like a camo pattern for my next one! Here is a pic:

Today I took my family to the Southside Farmers Market. I LOVE the markets! I get to meet loads of super friendly people that love to give me lots of pats. The dogs are great too. Lots of sniffing to be had. 

Apart from my family buying the usual food stuff at the markets, we also take a visit to the dog treat stall!!!! DELICIOUS!
